Here we go again. Third try since 2005 to get Social Security Disability for Ellie. It took me four hours to fill out all of the online forms. FOUR HOURS. I'm exhausted!
It is all about being persistent and knowing that the LORD will provide for ALL of our needs. We have filed so many appeals I have lost track. We finally got in front of an administrative law judge, at which point - 30 days before the meeting my husbands lawyer backed out. She sited there was not enough evidence to substantiate the claim. I wondered what she had been doing, I had given her the names of the Dr., facilities, pharmacys etc. We went in their by ourselves and because the lawyer had NOT done her job we had very little physical evidence. We proceeded to go ahead and get his ruling so I could see what it was that they needed. I then spent days gathering the information, calling, faxing & requesting copies of everything. I then spent another 2-3 days typing up our answer to each of his responses. I number coded each answer and attached copies of the evidence (bills, appointment cards, letters & prescription refills). By the time I was done I had a 3 page answer to his questions / comments and about a 2 inch stack of "evidence" to support our claim. I sent in the appeal. That was in March 2012 - just 2 weeks ago we got the news that our appeal was sucessful, we were being referred back to the administrative law judge to have our case heard again! YES PRAISE THE LORD! The most important part of this process is I continually asked GOD to show me what to say / type. Then prayed on this situation for the 1 year plus. I will continue to pray, knowing it is all about GODS timing and not mine, his Glory and his righteousness that will make this happen. Keep the faith and persistence! We have not because we ask not :) Love and prayers on your journey!
